    With the increased strength of 4130 Chromoly material, chassis builders are able to use thinner material to decrease weight while maintaining the same strength as thicker mild steel brackets. Chassis builders and racers use 4130 plate when making brackets and tabs that will be welded to 4130 chassis.

    Normalized Material is hardened making it stronger than Annealed products. Annealed material is generally recommended in applications where bending is necessary.
