High-quality black walnut hand-made, fretted cigar box guitar neck as shown.
The dimensions of the neck are 1.5" wide x 7/8" thick x 35" long with a 9/16” head stock. Fretted necks come with high-quality medium/medium nickel-silver frets and are 25.5” inch scale length.
There is 12" (or more) from the end of the last fret to the tail end. That is blank space to allow you to work with just about any standard cigar box size with enough room left over for your tail piece design.
The neck has 17 frets
The back edges of the neck have been rounded with a 3/8" router up to the 14
th
fret
Necks, such as ours, will show different grain patterns on the head stock.
Neck may have a bit of back-bow; we do use boards with some light bowing. When we do, we make sure to always cut the head stock such that the head stock is bowed back instead of forward.
We do not predrill tuner holes.These are neck that will need to be drilled to meet the needs of your instrument.
