FITS Troy Bilt chipper vac pro model (NO SHIFTER INCLUDED) (CABLE ONLY.)

Please make sure your shifter bracket holding your outer cable to the shifter is not broken. If it is it will need to be welded to be able to use this cable
I found a utube video that looks like a cable bought from me being installed on a chipper vac. I hope it helps you. I still preferer my way.

I have added pictures of how to remove the old cable from the bracket. A vise is best and put a piece of wood between the speed indicator and the vice so you do not scratch the indicator label. You will need it very tight so it will not slip. You can use a hammer and a punch to start tapping the crimped tabs over I also recommend adding a C clamp to help from bending the tab holding the outer cable in. I then use a big screw driver to gently  force the cable out of the tab. Two screw drivers works best for me one on each side pushing up at the same time. A claw hammer will also work well using the claw to lift up on the cable housing. make sure you use the C clamp to hold it down to keep from bending the clip and breaking it off.

The inside cable is made from stainless steel Hardened to not bend very easy.
The outside is made of cable now looks like the original OEM cable.
The inside cable length is 46 inches tip to tip. Factory is 45 1/2. tip to tip.
The outside cable is 41 1/4 inches long. Factory is 41 inches tip to tip.
