LOUET S50 SPINNING WHEEL with SKEIN WINDER AND HAND CARDERS
This is a beautiful, hardly used LOUET S50 spinning wheel, made in Holland.
I installed a new footman-to-treadle connector and new brass hooks on the flyer.
It comes with the original Louet skein winder and a set of Louet hand carders that have fine cloth on them.
Everything is in perfect working order. With normal use this set will last a lifetime.
The Louet S50 is very stable and suitable for beginning as well as accomplished spinners.
The 0.51inch orifice allows spinning from very fine to bulky yarn.
The height from the floor to the centre of the orifice is 27 1/3 inch.
The spinning wheel has been cleaned thoroughly, tested and treated it with good quality furniture oil.
Before listing this spinning wheel has been:
disassembled completely
checked and cleaned and treated with furniture oil
reassembled, tested and photographed for the auction
disassembled again, carefully packaged in bubble wrap, put in a sturdy box and made ready for shipment.

Condition
everything is in very good condition. It runs very smoothly
the orifice has a diameter of 0.51inch. So you can spin bulky yarns, if you want to!
