Sweet chintz porcelain candy dish features pink and white violets amidst green leaves completed with scalloped rim and gold trim. The bowl is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The deeper pink has some crackling from age and there is light wear to the gold trim. Marked on the bottom AA/809. The exterior of the bowl displays a mother of pearl glaze that is typical of older pieces made in Japan. Stands 2" tall x 8 3/4" long x 5" deep.
